Once you have ordered and received your Straight Talk phone, simply log on to the Straight Talk page and go to the Activate Page. Select the third choice: 'Activate my phone with a number transferred from another company.' You will be prompted to enter your new cell phone's serial number, zip code and valid service card (either $30 or $45). You will need a Straight Talk Mobile Hotspot Data Service Plan to complete your activation. Straight Talk Mobile Hotspot will not work with the Straight Talk Unlimited Service Plan Cards.

I have a Verizon phone that I am trying to connect to StraightTalk. I am in the Activate Your Service part. Since I have a CDMA device I need to put in my serial number. When I try to put it in, only the numbers work and a few letters on my keyboard. The rest of the letters, such as K,P,U,Z, and V, do not work. How am I supposed to register the service with this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
